Shane ran 8:30.12 in the boys 3000m to claim silver behind Callum Hawkins of Great Britain.

Earlier on Tuesday Sycerika Mc Mahon from Co. Down added a bronze medal to the silver she won on Monday.  Sycerika came third in teh girls 200m individual medley, swimming 2:18.88 (2.4 seconds behind the winner).
