Buffini Tops Podium Again

South Dublin Taekwondo’s Niamh Buffini has won gold at the Portuguese Open to her list of accolades for the year. National Team Player Niamh, 24, from Clondalkin clinched 1st place in her individual technical demonstration [Poomsae] division at the tournament whilst picking up bronze in her synchronised pairs division with colleague & club coach Robert Taaffe. Taaffe also secured a bronze in his individuals. In October  Buffini also won gold at the Scottish Open & now focuses on preparations for her 4th Dan Black Belt Examination where she hopes to become Irelands youngest WTF Master & only female Master in the Olympic style discipline of taekwondo.
