Irish rowers in semi final

Ireland’s women’s double scull of Lisa Dilleen and Sanita Puspure qualified for the semi-finals of the World Rowing Championships in Bled, Slovenia this afternoon.

In today’s repechage, they finished in second qualification spot, behind the United States.

If Dilleen and Puspure finish in the top eight at the Championships come Saturday’s finals this will qualify the boat for next year’s Olympic Games in London.
