Lisa’s performance was all the more remarkable after spending the last 2 years out of competition due to surgery and rehabilitation. The Herriot Watt student left immediately for Strasbourg for an intense 7 day International Training Camp before resuming her regular full-time training schedule in Edinburgh.

Lisa’s talents were recognised by the Olympic Council of Ireland back in 2005 when she was selected for the European Youth Olympic Games in Lignano.
