President honours Team Ireland

Team Ireland’s Katie Taylor and her father and Team Ireland boxing coach Pete Taylor with the President of Ireland Michael D. Higgins and his wife Sabina at a reception for the London 2012 Irish Olympic team at Aras an Uachtarain, Phoenix Park, Dublin. Over 100 attended including Team Ireland athletes and guests, performance support staff, Olympic Council Executive members , Sports Council officials, and Team Ireland sponsors. The President congratulated the Olympic Team for their overall performances at the Games and in particular the 5 medallists, Katie Taylor, John Joe Nevin, Paddy Barnes , Michael Conlan and Cian O’Connor.
