Ireland’s Olympic Team Chief Physiotherapist since 1992 Olympic Games, Marie Elaine Grant, has been given a prime role within the IOC Medical Commission for the London 2012 Games.

Grant has provided a world class service to Irish athletes at 10 European Youth Games, 2 Winter Games, and 5 Summer Olympic Games.

The OCI, last night, presented her with a token of their appreciation for her contribution to Irish Olympic sport, and in recognition of her new role for the London Games.

Grant and OCI Chief Medical Officer Prof Sean Gaine talk about the role and its significance to Irish Sports Medicine.
